How Your Support Helps Willow Burn Hospice
We rely on the generosity of your donations to keep our charity shops in Stanley, Consett and Lanchester stocked. All the proceeds from our shops go towards providing compassionate end of life care at Willow Burn Hospice.
You can also support your local hospice by saying "yes" to Gift Aid and by taking advantage of our drying cleaning service.
Did you know that we can receive 25% of the sale of your items, at no cost to you, just by saying "yes" to Gift Aid?

What You Can Donate
We are always open to accepting donations from the general public, not just for clothes but also electrical items, accessories and homeware. We sell a wide range of items from vintage clothing, wedding clothes and items for around your home, so once you’ve made space in your wardrobe why not have a look and see if you can grab yourself a bargain?

Does your office have space to collect donations from your staff? Gather clothes, bric-a- brac, household items and toys, then give us a call and we will arrange for it to go to our shops.

Say "Yes" to Gift Aid - Increase your Donation Value by 25%
Don’t forget, if you are eligible, you can sign a Gift Aid declaration in-store to make your donation go further. This simple act makes your donation 25% more valuable to us. Put simply, Gift Aid enables us to make an extra 25p on every £1 raised from the sale of your donations.
How Gift Aid Works In-Store
Please note, donations in-store which have a Donor ID on the price tag are being sold under the Gift Aid scheme. Willow Burn Hospice is action as an agent in selling those goods on behalf of Gift Aid Donors.
