This December, Willow Burn Hospice is proud to announce that Industrial Workwear Ltd is the first sponsor of our charity ball which is to take place in the Winter Gardens, at Beamish Hall Hotel in March 2023. As well as sponsoring the ball, Industrial Workwear has pledged to support its local hospice throughout the year with fundraising events and challenges.
The event, hosted by Alfie Joey, will be held on Friday 10 March 2023 with live music from Borderland and a racing challenge from Racing Sims North East. All income raised at the event will fund vital end of life care and bereavement support in Derwentside.
Joanna Wellden, Sales Manager from Industrial Workwear said: “Industrial Workwear has always supported charities and we thought it was important that we chose a charity within our local community. We decided Willow Burn Hospice was a great charity to support being a small hospice within our local community and due to the continuous care and dedication they bring to patients within the Derwentside area.
Having one of our members of staff experience the care and compassion Willow Burn provided to their family member during end of life care over 20 years ago only solidifies our decision, and over the span of more than 30 years Willow Burn Hospice have given so much to the local community, growing from strength to strength developing their services and helping more people year on year and Industrial Workwear are extremely proud to be supporting them with this.”
Rachel Todd, Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Willow Burn is delighted to be working with the team at Industrial Workwear: "I would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Industrial Workwear, it has been a pleasure working with them over the last six months on new merchandise for the hospice but to also have their support as corporate fundraising partners is invaluable. Each day in County Durham someone will receive a diagnosis of a life limiting illness and because of this partnership, we will be able raise vital income to support these people to make the most out of life.
There are still sponsorship opportunities and tables available, and I would love to chat with anyone who would like to make a difference to hospice care and generate awareness of their business."
Sponsorship packages for Willow Burn Glitter Ball are £1500 and tables of 10 are £490.00 which includes a welcome drink, three-course meal and live entertainment.
Last year’s event raised over £27,000 for hospice care in Derwentside.
