On Thursday 12 March the costs to fund one full day of care in the Sir Tom Cowie Day Care Centre have been kindly donated in loving memory of Susan Tetchner.
The family of Susan Tetchner has chosen today to honour her memory, as this month would have seen her 70th birthday and also her 49th wedding anniversary.
"On the 7th July last year, Sue passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a short stay in Willow Burn.
Sue lived a very happy life with her husband Kevin and as a loving mother to her daughter Sarah and grandmother to Christopher. She was well known by so many for her kindness, good humour and caring nature.
Sue loved her family deeply, and was very much the centre of family life, whether as the sensible older sister to her three brothers, honorary sister to Kevin's siblings, or thoughtful and much-loved auntie to all her nephews and nieces. She was never happier than when spending time with her family, or in indulging her many hobbies, including crafting, and growing flowers and vegetables.
Sue had many friends, too, some of those friendships stretching back to childhood, and she was always making more, through her interests in nature, gardening and amateur theatre. Whether at her beloved allotment or in making costumes for local productions, she was forever making new connections, and everyone who met her was touched by her calm, gentle and caring spirit. Sue was the kind of person who would go the extra mile to make a difference for anyone she met.
Sue has left huge holes in the hearts of those that loved her, but happy memories to last a lifetime. She is and will remain greatly missed.
We will love you always, Sue."
Kevin, Sarah, John and all your family and friends.
