The team at Willow Burn Hospice are thrilled to announce that this year’s Nurses’ Spring Fair was a resounding success, raising an impressive £3,097.35.
Special recognition goes to the dedicated staff and volunteers whose hard work and enthusiasm brought the fair to life. Guests to the fair were treated to cuddles from bunnies thanks to Kelly at Little Barn of Calm, delicious ice creams from Kevin and Will at Iced Dreams and trays of scones and cakes from the Willows Café. Appreciation also goes to Paul Snowdon for providing beautiful outdoor plants and Nurse Shirley Cramond for her stunning sock bouquets.
It was a perfect opportunity for our supporters to meet our newest recruit, Will O’Burn and everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the May sunshine.
A heartfelt thank you all who volunteered and attended, donated raffle prizes, gifts, handmade items and more – your kindness has made an incredible difference to the hospice, funding 24 hours in the Helen McArdle In-Patient Wing.
