This Sunday, Robert will be setting off on an eight day hike from Christ Church Consett, undertaking part of The Northern Saint's Way of Light & Saint Oswald’s Way, walking all the way to Holy Island. Robert will hike roughly 128 miles in total to raise money for Willow Burn Hospice in memory of his dear Uncle, Peter Shadforth.
Peter was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in September 2021, passing away the following November. Robert is taking on this amazing challenge to raise much needed funds for Willow Burn and to say thank you for the amazing level of care provided by the nursing team at Willow Burn which allowed Peter to pass away with dignity.
