On Sunday 12 May 2024 John, Blossom and a host of their family and friends, set off from Seahouses north beach and walked approximately 3.5 along to Bamburgh, stopping for a pint and picnic then set back off from Bamburgh walking the 3.5 miles back to St Aidan's sand dunes.

"I never met my human mam, but I know we would have loved each other.
My human mam passed away on the 11 May 2022 following a long illness.
I know my human dad misses her every day but appreciated the care she had at Willow Burn during her final days.
Willow Burn hospice is only partially funded by public funds and as such needs to supplement this through sponsorship.
Every step we take on our walk will raise awareness and much needed funds to help the nursing and care team at Willow Burn Hospice provide the very best care to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families when they truly need it."
So far, John and Blossom's Walkies for Willow Burn has raised over £1000.00 with donations still coming in.
